The Athenaeum Spa by Algotherm offers the ultimate in Spa facilities and treatments. This centre for vitality, beauty and well-being offers an Oxygen Bar, Floatation Tank, Kinesis Fitness Room, Finnish & Colour Therapy saunas and Chromoenergetic massage rooms. Using only natural substances of the earth, in serene surroundings, this exclusive Spa offers more than 50 holistic therapies. Beauty Treatments range from the classical facial and body care, to anti-ageing remedies and rejuvenation treatments.

All in house guests have complimentary use of the Indoor Hydrotherapy Pool, Sauna Garden, Fitness Centre and Tennis Court. Children under 16 are not allowed into the Spa and indoor pool. Water-sports such as sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing and water-skiing are available at the Corinthia’s private lido, 20 minutes away by courtesy coach (summer season only).

Everything was just perfect. THank you! I love this old hotel and will always return to it. Well appointed rooms, lovely spa and landscaped garden. Located in a quiet residential area. Reading a guidebook before departure pays dividends, there is SO much to see and do. Make notes as to the sites you want to visit. Wonderful palaces and gardens, amazing beaches, history calls out to you wherever you go. And as for the magnificent Grand Harbour at Valletta _ Wow! It always touches me. Also check the net for current events, e.g. concerts, theatre, art exhibitions, sporting events, shopping, everything is there.. Even though I've been to Malta many times, when travelling from the airport to my hotel I felt touched by its enduring beauty, with its honey coloured limestone architecture the whole Island seemed to be smiling.
