Reviews
Great hotel with fine facilties, clean pleasant rooms and friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The indoor pool was great especially when we had rain. The food was outstanding - I couldn't decide what to have there was so much choice ! The house wine was lovely and reasonably priced and the cocktail menu worth a sample ! We had a lovely room one floor up overlooking the Dolmen in the garden and sea beyond. Good coffee shop.
We recommend this hotel for the staff, facilities and rooms - it was great - many thanks to the Dolmen - look forward to seeing you again Thought Mdina was lovely and quiet at this time of the year .
The only problem we had was that we were not picked up for our transfer back to the airport - the reception staff sorted this out for us though and we were soon on our way

We booked two rooms with balcony but when we arrived we were given two horrible rooms with no balcony. We did get moved the next day but it caused us a lot of stress and the management did not seem to care at all. In a way we lost a days holiday because we were unsettled and could not unpack for the first 24 hours.
I was very impressed with Chevron.

Chevron Feedback: The hotel apologise for the inconvenience caused and inform us they ensured rooms were changed the following day after arrival and were upgraded free of charge to two superior sea view rooms on the 6th Floor.
Lovely hotel. Had a super room but it was let down with the dining room. the food was good but it was like a bun fight to get a table and then get your food. upgraded two nights but thought 7 eurus toawrds your meal a bit mean!
Loved the pool area. Well placed to jump on a bus to visit the island. Loved Valletta.

Chevron Feedback: Our local office has conveyed their concern, to the transport company, with regard to the poor transfer rating.
The hotel has told us the 7 Euros per person, local charge, was for an upgrade to the al a carte menu instead of buffet.
An absolutely excellent hotel (our third time of visiting) with friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfasts, hihest standard of cleanliness and a brilliant position in the lovely Maltese islands. It will always be our first choice now we have discovered it! I always recommend Chevron to anyone I know is going to Malta and to others we meet there who have travelled with other tour operators. Since we first used Chevron some years ago we have never used anyone else despite an occasional check to see if they could be bettered.
