Basic very clean very friendly family run complex food very good close to all attractions and bus station. Stay at Mavina good value for your money.
Chevron are the best value for money holiday company traveling to Malta.

Warm, friendly atmosphere. Food adequate. Felt a member of a large family. Ideal for solo travellers.
I was only in Malta for a winter week. Most people go and winter there for at least a month, many for longer.
Really good value for money with a month including flights for £500.
First time in Malta. I'll go back again. Mavina staff were very helpful.

We have travelled to Malta 40 times in the last 25 years and we know the Island like a second home so doubtfully you could have arranged anything better for us. Once again had a very enjoyable holiday in Malta, our stay at the mavina was trouble free, the staff were very polite & helpful & we would definately stay there again, although very basic the apartment had all we required, thank you.

Excellent location, friendly efficient staff. Always been put off Malta by people saying it has no beaches but it has and they are great, also it makes a refreshing change not to be hounded and pestered to visit bars or restaurants

Self catering apt quite large and clean staff in the complex very helpfull location good 2min from bus station. Did the trip to mount etna long day but well worth it

Good for the money paid, don't expect luxury!
Ease of travel around Malta on local buses - some are boneshakers but they go everywhere - weekly tickets available.
Enjoyed it all.

I was very disappointed to find that I was required to pay a further 3 Euros for a full English Breakfast. Having spoken to the Local Rep, I was told that B&B covered only Continental Breakfast. I would point out, that other than this small point, I was more than delighted with everything about the Mavina.

Chevron Feedback: It is difficult for our reservation staff to describe the meals offered but our website description of the Mavina does state: Breakfast is usually “Continental” and there will be a local charge for a “cooked” breakfast”.
THE MALTESE ISLANDS ARE STILL AFFORDABLE EVEN THOUGH THEY NOW HAVE THE EURO THE PEOPLE ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND MAKE YOU WELCOME AND YOU FEEL VERY SAFE THERE. EVEN THOUGH VERY SMALL ISLANDS THERE IS STILL PLENTY TO EXPLORE I HAVE BEEN GOING FOR 33 YEARS AND STILL FIND NEW PLACES THIS YEAR I VISITED THE FALCONRY CENTRE FOR THE FIRST TIME IT WAS WELL WORTH THE VISIT.

This time stayed at the front of the hotel, very noisy from the incognito bar, most nights, can't complain about the Mavina very clean, staff very helpful, English breakfast very good value for money. Had a fabulous time the Maltese are extremely friendly people.

The Mavina apartments were a little tired looking, but were spotlessly clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
