Facilities and Amenities
The Chalet Restaurant and bar is open daily, serving a variety of grills, pasta, pizza and salads. Traditional Maltese dishes like rabbit, beef olives and various local fish are also available. Continental buffet breakfast, dinner is normally waiter service.

There is building work next door to the hotel which may inconvenience guests. Currently there is heavy machinery and a big crane on the side of the Sliema Chalet Hotel.

The hotel is a few minutes walk away from Sliema’s main shopping centre and the Strand. The Strand or ‘The Ferries’ is where the chic cafes, shops and boutiques are found – Maltese society congregates here and it is a perfect place to see and be seen.
The promenade across the road from the hotel runs along the seafront to lively St Julians in one direction and from The Strand towards Valletta in the other direction, along the creek past the sizeable yacht marina.
There is a regular boat ferry service from the Strand to Valletta, a very short journey to a fascinating World Heritage site.
The bus stop in front of the hotel and the bus terminus nearby, makes it is reasonable easy to get to most parts of the Island.
