The Sunflower Hotel is about 800 metres away from its sister 4 star Hotel Santana. The hotel’s interior design reflects traditional Maltese architectural characteristics through the use of Maltese limestone. The hotel’s facilities include an indoor and rooftop pool, a children's pool, restaurant, bar and a games room.
Facilities
The Geranium Restaurant is situated at ground floor level with two adjacent open terraces. Its design depicts Maltese architectural traditions, featuring arched stone doorways and wrought iron. The Geranium, open for breakfast and dinner, offers a variety of meals including a number of vegetarian options and a selection of local dishes. Breakfast is Continental buffet style with cooked breakfast as an additional option. Dinners are buffet style offering a choice of local and international dishes with occasional theme nights such as Maltese Night and Carvery Night.
The Amaryllis Bar is located adjacent to the reception lobby and is an ideal place for meeting up with friends or simply to relax in a friendly atmosphere. Live entertainment is available on some evenings. The Amaryllis is open 24 hours offering a selection of wines, hot and cold beverages, snacks and pastries any time of day and night.
The Wardija Pool Bar enjoys sea and country views to the Wardija Hills. The pool has a whirlpool, separate children’s pool and surrounding sun bathing terraces. A swim-up snack bar, with seating in and out of the pool, serves a variety of snacks, ice creams and drinks. A choice of freshly prepared grills and salads are also served during the day in the high season.
The outdoor pool and bar are open during the summer months only.
