The Mdina Experience is an exciting spectacle in multivision
technique. It is housed in an old building. The old wall-stove, the running
spring water in stone channels and special light-effects evoke the
building's ancient past.
The multivision slide-show depicts the city of Mdina through the
ages its Phoenician past and its Roman connections, when the city was
called Melita. It recalls the city's memorable days under Aragonese rule
when its Siculo-Norman houses were erected, following the establishment of
the Universita and the Commune to conduct its internal administration.
The fascinating pictures in dazzling colour give a glimpse of the
history and the cultural past of ancient Mdina.
The simultaneous commentary in Maltese, English, French, German and
Italian heightens the spectacular effect of the 'Experience'.
