Being one of the biggest ‘brands’ in dance music we couldn’t start our list off without the one and only Annie Mac. Her Friday night show on Radio 1 gets over a million viewers which is quite exceptional to have such a loyal following every week. Coming from humble beginnings and eventually getting her start on Radio 1 in 2004, at aged just 26. She’s more than just a DJ. Annie Mac is the platform for young up and coming DJ’s and acts to show their talents. Lost and Found wouldn’t be what it is without her.
Not many music producers are of the same standing as Eats Everything aka Daniel Pearce. He’s made a profound impact on the electronic scene around the world. He’s at the front of a conveyor belt of talented musicians to come out of Bristol with his forward-thinking and fresh perspective mix of dance music. Opening on the Friday boat party in Malta, he is one not to miss!
Two young brothers with a lot of talent. Raised in the Bronx on their Dad’s love of music especially Garage, they’ve been around the scene all their lives. They’re becoming more prominent as a main stay in the global house music scene. Having held a residency in Ibiza since 2011 they’re star is rising all the time. Knowing for having energetic DJ sets and a unique connection to their fans, don’t miss them at the Castle Rave in Malta!
Born and bred in Glasgow Jack Revill has come a long way since spending his £20 weekly allowance on vinyl’s at the weekend. Jackmaster is a mysterious character. You never know what sound you’re going to get. He has an amazing ability to uncover lost and forgotten gems and then spring funky, get up and go house and techno vibes. Jack is a master of his art, connecting different styles into his well thought out sets. A resident at Glasgow’s Subclub and a main stay on the global stage too, if you’re looking for something different at Lost and Found then he is your man.
Another dedicated and popular music product to come out of Bristol, Julio came to premise in 2009 on Claude Van Stroke’s Dirtybird label and since then he has gone from strength to strength. With a love for house music he has cultivated his sound to become one of the biggest names in dance music.
Raised in the dance mecca of The Netherlands, Joris Voorn was surrounded by music from the beginning. He fell in love with dance music in the mid 1990’s and started DJing in 1997. Focusing on house and techno music, he’s played to sold-out crowds in the likes of Europe, Japan, Australia, Israel, New York and now Malta!
Andy and Tom crossed paths in the mid 1990’s. Groove Armada was formed and rest is history. They’re one of the worlds most loved and favoured dance producers. With a mixture of dance, electronic and everything else in between, Groove Armada are a must see at Lost and Found.
The brothers in arms! The lads from Surrey sync their upbringing of jazz, soul and late 90’s hiphop with London garage and dubstep. A great sound that is unique to them. Releasing their debut album in 2015, which was a great success, and looking for more of the same this year.
Maya, of British-Japanese descent, is a true Londoner. She is a unique breed of music producer as she writes, produces, mixes, arranges and performs every element of her music. Only 25 years old, Maya is someone to see at Lost and Found.
Justin was interested in decks before he could walk. He played with pots and pans which then turned into an obsession with music. His funky sound gathers crowds and has a large following around The USA. JM is one to watch.
