Malta Cruise Tours
Starting out from Sliema at 10am, this cruise takes you past incredible coastline scenery as you make your way to a secluded area in Gozo. After a stop at Gozo you head onwards to the Blue Lagoon in Comino where yo get the chance to swim in the crystal clear waters or sunbathe on the ship deck or shore.

The tour is on one of Captain Morgan's Turkish Gullet ships and provides a stocked bar with unlimited beer, wine, water and soft drinks. A cold & hot buffet is prepared and provided on board along with fresh fruit served in the afternoon on the return. The tour departs Sliema at 10am returning at 5.30pm.

Join us on a Harbour Cruise and witness Malta’s living past. Cruise around the two natural harbours on either side of Valletta – Marsamxett Harbour and the Grand Harbour. A detailed commentary will unfold the history of Valletta and the Three Cities connected with two Great Sieges of 1565 and 1942, as well as all the other places of interest including the historical forts, battlements and creeks which can only be admired from the sea. Captain Morgan’s Harbour Cruise is renowned for its detailed commentary. We cruise into every creek showing you the closest possible views.

This ever-popular Jeep Safari has been planned to show you the most beautiful parts of our islands which are rarely visited by tourists. Avoiding all the usual tourist sites and concentrating on an action-packed day full of scenic beauty and fun. A professional Safari leader will guide you throughout the day via radio taking you to places that even most local people do not know exist. A stop for swimming is also programmed. You will be served a typical lunch where one may sample a large selection of local specialities. The Jeep Safari is ideal for all age groups and it is superb way of getting to know Malta and Gozo. All Jeeps are 4-wheel drive, fully insured including passengers liability and have radio contact with the Safari Leader.

The Gozo Jeep Safari is probably the best way to see the island of Gozo. You will be taken to all the places of interestJeep Safari Malta & Gozo Malta's sister island can offer and drive through beautiful countryside, valleys, taking different routes from your ‘normal’ excursions. You will be collected from your accommodation from 7:00am onwards and taken to the Jeep Safari Terminal (departure point) from where the safari departs for the Gozo Ferry. Upon arrival in Gozo you will start the Safari to discover the magical island of Calypso. You will drive to the village of Qala and then on to Nadur, down to the red sandy beach of Ramla l-Hamra (Ramla Bay) and then on to the very quaint village of Xaghra. From here you go on to Victoria the Capital City of Gozo and stop for a break / lunch. After lunch, head off for Marsalforn which is a very popular tourist town and then on to Dwejra the ‘Inland Sea’. From Marsalforn head to the Fishing Village of Xlendi and then back to the Ferry.

You will be taken back to your accommodation at approximately 5:00pm.

Ranger Jeep Safari Malta

Full Day Tour

You will be collected from your accommodation at approximately 07:30am and taken to the Jeep Safari Terminal (departure point) where you will start the Safari at 09:15am to discover Malta’s charms. 
You drive to Mizieb and on to the Red Tower and Popeye Village where we will stop to visit (optional). After Popeye Village, we take an exciting (but safe) off road track and make our way to Golden Bay where we will stop for a drink (optional). After we drive to Mgarr and Fomm ir-Rih with its breath-taking views. Then on to the Silent City of Mdina/Mtahleb where we will stop for a visit and then continue to lunch. After lunch, we proceed to Dingli Cliffs with its spectacular views of the island of Filfla. We then move on to the Blue Grotto and then on to Marsaxlokk Fishing Village.

You will be taken back to your accommodation at approximately 4:30pm.

On arriving in the capital city of Valletta you will walk to the Barrakka Gardens, which offer a panoramic view of the Grand Harbour. From there, proceed to St. John’s co-Cathedral, Malta’s greatest treasure that features a famous painting by Caravaggio. The tour will continue to the Grand Master’s Palace, which houses the Parliament, the offices of the President of Malta, and the Armory.

The tour begins with a trip to Wied iz-Zurrieq to visit the picturesque Blue Grotto where, weather permitting, Marsaxlokk, Maltawill take a short boat ride to the Grotto to view the spectacular underwater flora*. You will then proceed to the southern part of the island to visit the fishing village, Marsaxlokk, where you will have ample free time to stroll around the market and admire the typical and traditionally brightly painted fishing boats, known as “luzzu”.

Mosta, MaltaToday’s excursions takes us to the central part of Malta, dominated by the medieval fortified city of Mdina, Malta’s former capital city. The narrow , winding streets, dating back to medieval times, lead to the imposing bastions, commanding a magnificent panorama of the island. On the way there, you will discover different styles of architecture, including Siculo-Norman palaces and other baroque buildings of great historical importance. Time stands still in this @Silent City which is a film-maker’s paradise.

Leaving Mdina through Greeks’ Gate, we stop at the early Christian catacombs in Rabat before proceeding to the cliffs at Dingli.

After lunch we will visit the San Anton botanical gardens situated near the Presidential Palace, which you will be able to admire from outside. We shall also spend time at the crafts centre at Ta Qali. At the end of the tour, allow us to astound you with Mosta’s majestic done , one of Europe’s largest.

Tour of GozoGozo is the legendary abode of Calypso, daughter of Atlas. The tour will begin with a visit to the Ggantija Prehistoric Temples in Xaghra before proceeding to Dwejra to see the Fungus Rock and the Inland Sea. After stopping to see the local lace and knitwear for which Gozo is renowned, you will stop for lunch in a typical Gozitan village. Following lunch, free time will be given, during which time we suggest that you visit Gozo’s Cathedral* in the island’s capital city, Victoria. To conclude, we will embark on the ferryboat at Mgarr Harbour to return to Malta.

Tours are not available for clients with accommodation in Gozo. The following are the Terms & Conditions attached to our Tours:

  • By using and booking Tours through SMS Tourism clients will be accepting these booking conditions on their behalf and all other persons using the services pursuant to the booking effected.
  • Excursions are operated all year round however some are subject to weather conditions and, in some cases, having a minimum number of clients on the excursion due to local feasts, public holidays and national festivities some excursions might not be operated. In such situations tours are subject to alteration or cancellation.
  • Although not usual practice, we reserve the right to alter and change the routing or otherwise amend any part of the proposed tour due to unforeseen circumstances.
    We shall not incur any liability towards the client where such alteration is a result of circumstances beyond our control such as strikes, weather conditions, riots, etc.  Notwithstanding anything contained at law any liability we may have for any claim whatsoever is limited to the refund of the price of the excursion ticket.
  • All prices are subject to change without notice.  However any bookings taken and confirmed will be honoured at the prices paid.  Our prices are not subject to any extras apart from those indicated in the tours description. All prices are inclusive of local taxes. However the prices do not include any gratuities for guides and drivers.
  • Pick up location and timings will confirmed on arrival in your welcome pack or by your local representative in resort. It is recommended that clients call the office on (00356) 2577 1481 at least 24 hours before the tour to confirm pick up details.
  • If on the day of the booked excursion clients do not present themselves as indicated this will be considered as a no-show and no refund would be applicable. No refund is given in case a person is not allowed to join a tour for reasons listed in these terms and conditions.
  • SMS shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, illness, delay or expense caused to the client unless this is a result from the proven negligence or deliberate action or omission of the company or its employees. In any event the company’s liability shall in all cases be limited to the sums paid by the client and excludes all indirect or consequential loss or claim of whatever nature. 
    The company relies totally on its suppliers for correct information and whilst all details are given in good faith, the company cannot accept responsibility for any inaccuracies.  Subcontractors may be engaged on behalf of the client.  SMS are operators of land tours but subcontract other suppliers to provide ancillary services.  Our responsibility and liability is restricted to the services provided directly by SMS but full assistance will be given in the event of incidents resulting from services provided by third parties.
  • In the unlikely event that you feel there are aspects about which you wish to complain, your complaint should be made immediately to your guide on tour. This would allow us to verify and assess the possible causes of the complaint and would give SMS the opportunity to resolve the matter in resort.   If the grievance refers to the guide’s services, then clients are requested to call our offices on the following day to discuss details in confidence on telephone number (00356) 2577 1481.
• Smoking is not permitted on our tours.
• In the interest of safety and comfort of all passengers no food or hot beverages are to be consumed on the coach.
• When entering churches clients are requested to cover arms and not to wear shorts or very short skirts.  Stiletto heels are prohibited in St John’s co-Cathedral in Valletta.
• Clients are advised not to leave any personal belongings on our transport.  We are not responsible for any loss or damage to property during the tour.
• Physically-challenged clients:  we kindly ask you to contact us specifically for such needs to advise which are the best excursions suitable for such clients.
• We reserve the right – at our discretion and upon the recommendation of our guides – to require a person to withdraw from any tour if we deem that their acts or conduct is offensive or a nuisance to other clients and we shall have no further liability.
• Maltese law shall apply.

•Clients can customize their trip to their desire, as long as the itinerary chosen can be completed within the timeframe agreed to with the Guide on the day of the tour.
•Private tours include transportation in a car or mini-van and is air-conditioned. All transport is duly licensed and regulated by Transport Malta.
•Lunch, snacks or any other costs are not included in the price.
•Ferry tickets in the case of Gozo are not included in the price.
•Entrance tickets are not included in the price and would need to be purchased by the client direct during the tour.
