Diving in Gozo
Some of the best dives in Europe, even worldwide, can be found in Gozo. The warm clear waters make Gozo a prime and sort after dive location. It is not just us that say Gozo is the place to go for diving, the multiple awards Malta and Gozo regularly receive speak for itself!
Where ever you dive in Gozo you are sure to come accross amazing marine life but there are also some hidden gems lurking just beneath the surface. With plenty of wreck dives such as the MV Karwela Wreck, a 50 metre ship standing in a perfect verticle position which also serves as an artificial reef, you will not be disappointed. This is considered one of the best wreck dives in Gozo.
Cave diving is not too bad either!!!
The Blue Hole (the local recommendation), Reqqa reef, Inland Sea Tunnel and Double Arch are all fantastic sites to dive. The Sea Temperatures are at their lowest in February but rarely drops below 10 degrees average and it is at its warmest in July/September where it averages at the late 20's and remains over 20 degrees all the way through to November.
