Getting To Cardiff Airport

Cardiff Airport sits just a few miles shy of the city, right by the village of Rhoose. If you’re coming to the airport by train, there is a rail link to the closest station from both Cardiff Central and Bridgend. Passengers arriving by train can take a shuttle bus from the train station to the main airport terminal. This short bus ride costs £1. If you’re getting a bus from the city centre, we recommend you take the T9 as it’s the dedicated bus route for the airport, with tickets costing on average £5. This bus will leave you right at the airport entrance.

Driving to the airport? The postcode for Cardiff Airport to use on your sat nav or map app is CF62 3BD. You’ll be taking junction 33 from the M4 to get to the airport, which is clearly signposted all the way there. Long term parking is provided, so make sure to take a look at the potential 25% discount you can get booking with APH (you can read all about that further down the page)

At The Airport

Over a million passengers annually travel through Cardiff airport, so you know there’s going to be a great range of services when you check in. There’s Duty Free if you’re looking to bag a good bargain on cosmetics, WHSmith so you don’t forget to grab a book for a good read on the beach and Sportswear @ Nuance where you’ll find all the sportswear of the top Welsh teams.

If you want to get something to eat before your flight, there’s Echo bar and Caffi Cwtch. Both serve something to suit all tastes. There’s also a Café Ritazza if you want a flat white prior to departure.
