Getting To Edinburgh Airport
The airport is 6 miles west of the city centre and lies along the A8 road that goes between Glasgow & Edinburgh, so if you’re planning on driving to the airport from the east or west it’s incredibly easy to get to. And if you’re planning on parking at the airport during your holiday, we can help you save on long term parking with our partner APH. See how much you can save by visiting their site (you can find out more information below).
There are also excellent public transport options from Edinburgh city centre. If you’re planning on getting a bus from Edinburgh Waverley Station, take the Airlink 100. It’s a direct service to and from the airport, and stops off at other main areas along the way such as Haymarket Station and Murrayfield. On top of this a new tram service operates to the airport as well with an £8 return ticket.
At The Airport
The airport has a great variety of shopping options. With top cosmetic brands like MAC and Jo Malone, Scottish based stores like Liquorice Tree and Thinking Scotland, and essentials like Superdrug and WHSmith at hand, you’ll have plenty of choice if you like a nice bargain before you fly.
And if you’re looking to grab a snack before your flight, YoSushi and a number of Wetherspoon Bar & Restaurants serve up cuisine to suit all palettes.
