Getting To Liverpool Airport
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is only 6 miles southeast of Liverpool city centre and sits right by the River Mersey. Its location makes it quite convenient to reach by car. There is no direct rail link to the airport, as Liverpool is very much a bus city. The closest station is Liverpool South Parkway which is 2 miles from the airport. The quickest bus route is the 500 which goes from the airport to Liverpool ONE, which is right by Liverpool Lime Street Station.
If you’re more inclined to get a taxi from the city centre to the airport, the average fare for a private hire cab is £15.
