Located on the outskirts of Qawra, close to Salini National Park, about 15 minutes walk from the Qawra Promenade and 20 minutes walk from the centre of Bugibba. Qawra bus terminus is about 25 minutes walk away.

Qawra tends to be calmer and probably more chic than the Bugibba area. It is a relaxing resort lined with smart seafront lidos offering excellent sunbathing and water sport facilities.

If you are looking for a fun packed holiday, Bugibba serves up. Its buzzy sea front is packed, with a variety of kiosks, cafes and shops. A sublime location to start the day soaking up the sun or simply watching the world go by. When the sun sets there is an abundance of waterside restaurants and lively music bars; if you feel lucky try the casino or bingo hall. Malta’s nightlife shrine of St Julian’s is just a 30 minute bus ride away.

The many flat rocks platforms and sandy stretch along the seafront are brilliant for sunbathing and safe swimming.

The Geranium restaurant is situated at ground floor level with two adjacent open terraces. Its design depicts Maltese architectural traditions, featuring arched stone doorways and wrought iron. The Geranium, open for breakfast and dinner, offers a variety of meals including a number of vegetarian options and a selection of local dishes. Breakfast is an enriched continental and includes cereals, yogurt, fruit, cold cuts, tea, coffee and fruit juice and a variety of breads and spreads. Dinners are buffet style offering a choice of local and international dishes with occasional theme nights such as Maltese Night and Carvery Night.

The Amaryllis bar is located adjacent to the reception lobby and is an ideal place for meeting up with friends or simply to relax in a friendly atmosphere. Live entertainment is available on some evenings. The Amaryllis is open 24 hours offering a selection of wines, hot and cold beverages, snacks and pastries any time of day and night.

The Wardija pool bar enjoys sea and country views to the Wardija Hills. The pool has a whirlpool, separate children’s pool and surrounding sun bathing terraces. A swim-up snack bar, with seating in and out of the pool, serves a variety of snacks, ice creams and drinks. A choice of freshly prepared grills and salads are also served during the day in the high season.

The outdoor pool and the pool bar are open from May to October.

it’s a few years now using this company and have not had one single problem. I will be using them again, wouldn’t use anybody else - not 5 star but a hundred and five stars what can I say if you want the best then who else is in their class from my view no one is. We love the sunflower because you are a name and not a number its like being with family all the staff are absolutely brilliant I hope to be seeing them again soon.

Fine hotel but if we'd had the gusting, noisy wind on the first night rather than the last it might have been a different story. Recommend Lascaris War Rooms. Not that I am at all into Aquariums but the one in Bugibba was excellent. Malta did everything we wanted and more. Not far away, ideal for a week, relatively cheap, sunny and, most importantly, plenty to do.

This is our fifth year at the Sunflower Hotel, and we love it.Everybody is so friendly and helpful, I would recommend it to anyone old or young.I am glad I saw the Chevron advert, as there was no trouble at all from the booking, to the flight and transfers, everything went smoothly. I would definitely use Chevron again, if I was to go back to Malta. Thank you Chevron. Recomend, The way everything was done it went so smoothly, you really did not have to do anything, except pay, and that was really reasonable. thumbs up for it all. Keep up the good work, it is the best company I have booked with.

For sight-seeing,make the most of the local bus service Arriva, hold on tight though , as the roads are really bendy and the Bus Drivers some times seem unaware they have passengers on board, you could go flying- so hold on. Bus Station is not far from the Hotel 10-15 min walk.
