Malta Visa Information
Following the UK’s exit from the EU there are some minor changes which should be noted for your next holiday to Malta. Entry Requirements for Malta
- When entering Malta you must have at least 6 months remaining on your passport.
- Your passport must be less than ten years old.
- You may need to use a separate queue lane from the EU.
- You may need to display an onward or return ticket on arrival to Malta.
- You may need to show you have enough money to accommodate your stay in Malta
Do I need a UK Malta Visa?
You can stay in the Schengen area for up to 90 days in any 6 month period without requiring a visa. Malta is in the Schengen area.
If you wish to stay in Malta or the Schengen area longer than 90 days in a 6 month period you must apply for a visa.

Malta work permit
If you conduct or intend to conduct work in the period of 90 days you will require a temporary licence.
